People of mystery

One may wonder, “what is the best way to approach someone who you don’t know. It isn’t always someone of the opposite sex as you might be thinking about the cute girl at work, it can be to anyone. As humans, we are naturally hesitant to talk to strangers, and this ca pose a problem. When is it the right time to approach them? Would I ve interrupting anything? What if they don’t want to talk to me? All these questions and more, are quit common. Really it just takes the courage to get over there and say hi. Even a “hello” when you are walking past wouldn’t hurt. But remember, whats the worst that could go wrong, right? I don’t really know actually. Probably a lot of things could go wrong to be honest…

Any how, Newt Gingrich is ahead in the Republican polls. Eh, whatever. Being the straightforward guy that he is, I kinda like the way he goes about things, but undeniably, he has a very murky past.

The day just took a crappy turn however. I hate getting in heated fights with my friends. Arguments are ok, because then there is an intelligent sense (usually) in these, but this was a fight…not cool…

Waking up this morning I rolled over and Tina was still sleeping (as usual). She is just so cute when she sleeps! And on my way out to the car I always look back at the sunset, and it is more often than not, very beautiful in the winter mornings. t was pretty, but strange this morning, and mad me wonder. I’m just so confused today. It seems like a great successful day, but at the same time,I feel bored and distraught. Ugh, fine world, I’m sure today will turn out fine. Mr. Burkhaldt better go out and get ice cream tonight. Thats what I need…

Today Nick emailed this too me and said it was me at my next job interview if I get fired.

Yea, that would totally be me…

The people that surround us

We all have that moment when we realize someones true character. Sometimes it’s a gentle nudge telling us “Darn I was right wasn’t I”? But sometimes it is a blatant slap right in the face. Yea this was one of those times. For the most part I am writing this part to all those liars, deceivers, and people that hide your emotions like it’s a crime. Really I don’t think you realize how better off society would be without you. You mess up our political systems. You mess up our lives. You mess up friendships conversations, and minds. So please, be honest. I know the truth hurts but lying causes worse problems, trust me.

Now that thats out of the way, a very short story? Why not. I mean I really dont have the free time, but why not?

He didn’t know what to think. They hadn’t told him anything, just tied him up and dragged him out of his cell. It was different then usual this time though, because they blind folded and gagged him. He could here the calls of fellow inmates mocking him, but he had really become accustomed to it by now. The vulgar cries died away, and he could tell it was getting brighter wherever he was going. He was dragged over a door step, and placed in a chair, still indoors as far as he could tell. The blindfold was removed and a single light shone in his eyes. “This the one?” he heard a man ask from behind the light. A different voice replied, “Yup.” “Now listen Kyo,” the first voice started, “you are gonna go out there and do what you do best. Fight to the death. Kill them all and you might win your freedom.” The blindfold was repositioned over his eyes and they stood him up. He heard another door open and the blindfold, gag and handcuffs were removed. They pushed him out into a large arena, his feet hitting soft warm sand. The arena was empty but in front of him stood two men from block C. Block C was for the weak. The first man looked him straight in the eye, and at that point he realized they had been told the same thing, “fight to the death.” The man ran at him disregarding the other man to his right. Kyo neutralized the man in one swift motion snapping his neck like a rabbit in a snare. The second man started to back away, but Kyo had found a small shard of metal in the sand. He threw it just like he had been trained, piercing the mans jugular. Blood, shone brightly in the mid morning sun and painted the sand as the man fell and sprawled about like a skewered swine. He heard a voice from above him and he whirled around to meet its origin. A man, who’s outline was all he could make out in the shadows, said one simple sentence. “Not him.” Kyo felt the all too familiar feeling of a tasar meeting his body. He awoke in his cell. Events like these, having happened before, were nothing new to him and he thought nothing of it, but it was the first time he had been in the arena. He had loved it.

Random short tale

Well because I’m bored…

She slowly opened here eyes. The ground was bare but not cold. Looking up at the wall she could see a blue dark glow that left a film on the walls, it seemed. The light was coming from outside. It was dark and snowing softly on the window. She was on the second floor from what she could tell and as she stood and walked to the door she noticed a light through the cracks. She went into the lit hallway, finding her way along the wall under the barely luminescent bulb. Soon a staircase greeted her and she followed it downwards to the first floor. The first floor was much darker with not a single light for her to find her way. She stood still for a few moments waiting for her eyes to adjust. When it seemed she could navigate the dark house she made her way down another shorter hallway into what seemed like a kitchen. There were more windows in the kitchen, these windows however were not plagued with artificial light form the outside. The sky was tan and sandy. You know how sometimes you look outside away from the city and the sky is all tan? Thats what it looked like. This intrigued her for she had never seen the sky such an odd color. Making her way to the right she stumbled upon a door and could not help but peak out on that mysterious sky. She cracked the door just a hair and a cold breeze softly wafted into the room. She opened the door a little wider and went out into the December cold. Her bare feet pressed fresh molds into the snow, but she wasn’t cold. She was warm with excitement and love, the kind of love for something intangible that we feel when we are most at peace with ourselves. This love we can always find within, at any place, at any time.

Just another monday

Waking up to the world sucked today. It brightens my day and gives me a positive outlook sometimes when the sun is rising. Seeing the sun rise through the trees is usually really beautiful especially in December. But today it was dark and raining…I found out I had more work than I thought this weekend that I failed to attend to. Sigh. Well today is gonna be rough but I guess its no big deal in the scheme of things. I don’t have that many things to motivate me either, aside from my imagination and what I can think of. I just hope I end up being motivated enough to finish this work and tie up some loose ends.

The New Lights! So Awesome…

Hear Ye, Hear Ye! New lights have been successfully installed on the Altima (Swaggermobile)!

Old crappy lights on the left. Beautiful heaven sent lights on the right.

Enlisting the help from my “village elders” really paid off on this one. The above image is the half way point.

Nice wide shot

Close up

Installing these was harder than expected but not too hard for  me and an electrition. Since manufacturers hate everyone they decided to put the bolts holding the lights in backwards. So we had to remove the entire front bumper to install these pretty lights (Ellie Goulding song reference). Finished project was well worth it though. And as a reward for myself, Domino’s 😀

Great Christmas Gift ideas for the inept relatives

If you have someone who simply cannot seem to buy you a good gift because they are financially strapped or just suck at getting gifts (never let these people decide what to get you, just tell them what you want) then hear ye, hear ye, I come bearing good news. Heres a couple ideas for you out there.

1. A book: You may not like to read but if you hav ever been interested in anything in your life there is a book on it, and you will probably enjoy it, you lazy people. Plus books are fairly cheap.

2. Office/School supplies: Now whether you are studying or pushing pencils, we all need some new supplies every now and then, and it is virtually impossibly for your gift giver to mess this up. It’s also cheap.

3. Gift cards: Simply put; It’s the easy way out for everyone. Especially if they are buying “the day of.”

4. Candy, sweets, wine, etc: Depending on the person you are, or the person you may be buying for, these are also simply easy gifts. Now the picky hypoallergenic might be a little hard to buy for but just stick to the gift card for them.

5. Now for the very financially strapped there is the home made gift. I know, I know, WE HATE TIME CONSUMING TEDIOUS CRAFTS. But most people (the mature ones anyway) will really appreciate a gift that comes from the heart. Now the hand made matching sweaters are pushing it, but a hand made shelf might be a pretty cool gift. This gift idea is for people with time on their hands that know what they are making is something the gift receiver will definitely like. This gift is pretty trick actually…But the cheapest.

I hope this will help simplify your holiday season and I’m open to suggestions or other ideas so feel free to comment! Who knows you could help someone else out too!

Some lyrics I wrote a couple nights ago

I couldn’t fall asleep a few nights ago so I wrote this out of sheer boredom.

Hate fills your heart

Or is it apathy?

Struggling to build

On this broken foundation

We came

We conquered

We reigned

We slaughtered

Innocent lives

Just thrown away like nothing

Seeing through your eyes

Is like simply forcing

knives down our throats

This pain remains

What we have done

Stands out in vain

Laughing maniacally

my minds a twisted mess

Being covered in dried blood

seems to suit us best

Lie for

your sanctity, they’ll never know

Fly free

From your lost damned soul, we’re in control

We came

We conquered

We reigned

And slaughtered

Hearing these cries

Sadistically excites me

When will this end

When will we finally be free

It’s not the end

Come my friend

We will live forever

We have come to far

To become martyrs

of this endeavor

The angels cry

the all ask why

its over now

its gone and died

We stand together

tall and proud

we look upon this flustered crowd

It seems as though we’ve reached the end

But what they dont know is its just begun

I took you in and gave you all the tools to sin

But you stood there and contemplated

What you might do if I rold you that I truly cared

My good friends are gone and dead,

But you and me we can still be

Singers, bringers, carers, givers, liars, lovers, hopers, winners

The storm has passed and we’ve come out stronger

This bond will last though the nights be longer

This misery I still keep inside

But maybe one day I’ll let it die

Good Morning December

It’s one of those mornings where you aren’t quite sure if the day is going to utterly suck or if it is going to be great. I hope the hether. In any case the ground is starting to freeze which is absolutely fabulous. The sooner the ground freezes the sooner I can begin my favorite activity of the year. (Aside) – Last night found out that a while back there was a girl I had put a lot of effort and time into trying to see, actually only saw me because she liked my friend. What a shame…
